Yes, international shipping is available to supported destinations. Shipping costs are calculated during checkout according to your order and destination.
International customers may also be responsible for customs charges, import VAT or other local fees imposed by their country. These charges are outside my control and are not included in the order price unless explicitly stated at checkout.
Orders are prepared as quickly as possible, but please remember that An Inkwell of Nectar is an independent author-run business rather than an enormous fulfilment warehouse.
Signed and personalised books may require additional preparation before dispatch. Current processing information will be displayed on the relevant product or delivery page.
If it has been over 4 weeks and your parcel has not arrived please contact me and I will see what I can do. Most likely it has been returned to me and we can discuss re-shipping.
The When the Stars Alight hardcover is a bespoke item and thus is handcrafted by the manufacturer over, at most, 13 working days. After that it is either delivered straight to you or to my house where I will have to prepare it for shipping. I appreciate the lengthy time might be frustrating but please keep in mind that we are often working with low stock and only process orders as demanded.

Tracking availability depends on the shipping service selected for your order. Where tracking is included, you’ll receive the relevant details once your parcel has been dispatched.
Books are packed carefully to protect them during their journey, with particular attention given to special editions and decorative finishes.
Beautiful books deserve better than being hurled into the postal system with a prayer.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact me as soon as possible with your order number and clear photographs of both the item and its packaging.
I’ll assess the problem and arrange an appropriate solution in accordance with the store’s refund and replacement policy.

If you’re new to The Essence of the Equinox, start with When the Stars Alight, the first book in the main trilogy. From there, continue with We Will Devour the Night and And the Age of Summer Will Rise.
The Sanguine Sorceress is a companion novella set within the same universe. It can be enjoyed separately, although existing readers may spot connections to the wider world.

The good news? The trilogy is complete, so there are no agonising waits between books.
Not quite. The Essence of the Equinox is an adult gothic fantasy series with prominent romantic storylines, but it is not genre Romance and does not promise a conventional happily-ever-after.
Love, desire and obsession are important to the story, but so are politics, power, family, ambition and the consequences of terrible decisions. If you enjoy complicated relationships and endings that prioritise the story over romantic convention, you should feel at home here.
The series contains on-page sexual content intended for adult readers. Sex is used as part of the characters’ relationships, power dynamics and emotional development rather than being the primary focus of the books.
In other words: there is sex, but the plot does not politely leave the room while it happens.
